Our High Intensity Interval Training classes are designed to improve your cardiovascular fitness as well as your ability to work at high intensities and buffer the resulting lactic acid.
This is achieved by performing short bursts of intense (often full body) exercise, with relatively short rest breaks in between. Additionally, Both external and body weight resistance exercises are incorporated with the goal of stressing muscle groups as well as your cardiovascular system placing this class very high on the ‘calorie burning’ scale.
This class is specifically designed for adults who have a strong understanding of foundational movements and alignment as most exercises will be performed high velocities.
* If you are currently injured we recommend adding this class to your schedule once you have fully recovered. The Movement Technique class is also a great one to attend prior to tackling HIIT.
