With: Ivan Hui has a lifelong interest in movement, and enjoys studying human biomechanics. He has completed teacher training programs, kettlebell and weightlifting certifications, studied Axis Syllabus, Fighting Monkey, MovNat, and applies these movement principles to his own coaching and personal activities (one current hobby is Muay Thai kickboxing). He is the owner of Cool East Market, a retail store in Toronto dedicated to minimal footwear that allows feet to function more naturally. Ivan enjoys sharing his knowledge of anatomy to facilitate positive explorations of health and movement.
Workshop Description: In this workshop, you’ll learn a series of mobilizations and activations for the intrinsic muscles of the feet. These can be taken away to add to your own stretch and self-care routine, or used in warm-ups before workouts, running or other movement activities.

With: Dr Amy Reichelt (PhD, BSc, CHNP), Amy has a PhD in neuroscience and is a certified Holistic Nutrition Practitioner. Her work in neuroscience over the past decade has been transformational in demonstrating the influence of nutrition to support brain health and optimize cognition, with focus on how sugar disrupts brain function in the developing and aging brain. With her practice Cognition Nutrition (http://cognitionnutrition.ca), she aims to help others to nourish their brains to optimize their mental and physical health.
Workshop Description: This workshop explores the crucial relationship between nutrition, exercise and stress management, including the impact of stress on the body and brain. Participants will learn evidence-based strategies for using diet to support their body’s stress response system, as well as stress-supportive foods.
