Taylor Bojanowski is a dancer, choreographer and teacher from Toronto, Ontario. In 2017 she graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University Performance Dance Program, where she studied under the direction of Vicki St.Denys. Taylor was the 2017 recipient of the “Theatre Dance Program” award at TMU. Initially, she dedicated herself to classical ballet, but soon discovered her passion for contemporary dance. Throughout her professional training she has had the pleasure of working with many prominent instructors such as Vicki St. Denys, Tanya Evidente, Karen Duplisea, Kenny Pearl, Louis Louberge-Coté. Taylor also had the privilege of working with choreographers including James Kudelka, Peggy Baker, David Earl, Roberto Campanella, Robert Glumbeck, William Yong and Kevin O’Day.
Taylor was the understudy for ProArteDanza 2016/17 season and worked along side the company, in 2017, she was the recipient of the apprentice contract with the company. Taylor rehearsed and preformed in ProArteDanza piece titled “Op-Sha” created and choreographed by Kevin O’Day. Taylor has been a company member with ProArteDanza since 2018 and is working on their upcoming season with the company.
While Taylor focus’ on her performance career, she has found her love for teaching. She is an award winning choreographer and teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience who is always looking forward to working with dedicated and passionate dancers. Her goal is to create a positive and open environment to help young people feel confident while discovering who they are as an artist.
